Portland Diamond Project

Digital Activations

When it came time to start telling the story of the movement to bring an MLB team to Portland, Portland Diamond Project turned to Clever.ly. With our digital activations we’ve helped tailor messaging and content to local government, business partners, investors and—most importantly—the fans. So far we’ve crafted web presence, digital avenues for a 50,000-strong (and growing!) petition, interactive kiosks, and a regular feed of social media content.

Our Role

Experience Design
Web Development
Ongoing Site Management

The Portland Diamond Project website had to serve many purposes to a diverse set of audiences. Although quite different, curious locals, hardcore fans and potential investors all need quick access to the information that is important to them.

We built a hub that provides people with information, keeps them informed of the latest updates, and presents a living archive of the history of the movement.

As always, we work to make our web experiences fully responsive. The majority of web traffic is now mobile, so having a website that caters to that is incredibly important. We work to give the mobile versions of our sites special care so they don’t feel like cookie-cutter mobile experiences.

The Portland Diamond Project site received extra work to make several features play just as well on mobile as they do on desktop.

We’re proud to have played a role in crafting a digital home for Portland Diamond Project. We’re excited for what the future will bring and how digital can play a larger role with a Major League Baseball team in Portland.
